Hey all, hoping someone can give me a help out, had a look through the forum and found the exact issue is a common fault so I stripped the door panel today and low and behold the window motor plug is full of corrosion and also the motor is missing a few pins due to corrosion, easiest option is probably to replace the motor and wiring loom, are theses parts fitted to any other models in the vag range as I would imagine they are quiet expensive off the main dealers, what have others done in the same situation as myself?

Before you go to breakers that may have questionable units that may or may not work, check the classifieds on here where many people are breaking mk1's.
