Finally got a chance to wash 1,877.9 miles of dead flies, road crud and the effects of about 30-minutes worth of rain off of the Harley after the trip to European Bike Week in Faaker See, Austria.

Not too bad really considering the amount of crap I had to clean off my visor every time we stopped for fuel, food, the loo and un-numbing my backside

In a way I wish the finish was gloss black do that I could polish it, however all I can use apparently is H-D's own Sun Wash, Bug Remover, Wheel & Tyre Cleaner, Quick Wash & Denim Paint Cleaner! and you sign to say that the care of the motorcycle has been explained to you and that you understand

 

I've contacted a number of manufacturers to ask about the products they sell for Matt Paint finishes and all of them have said they have no experience of Harley-Davidson Denim (Matt) Paint Finishes and suggested I try a bit of their product on somewhere out of site which isn't very helpful on a naked bike! :(
