There's been a couple of posts on this but what should I look for. The boot release on the boot itself has stopped working. The lever to the side of the drivers seat works fine. Took the rear cover off boot and checked wiring and all seems to be ok. I assume wires to switch on boot lock are earth and one from drivers lever and one from switch. Can I check voltages here? also what is the star hex tool required to remove the lock itself and is this the same as the door lock mechanism as I have t0 look at those too.

Does the boot release work if you open one of the rear doors first? My wife's and a few friends have this problem too. Boot release does not work. Open and shut rear door. Boot release works. Weird. Any one know why this is?
