Electric Windows

Featured Replies

Right - The passenger front window is inop (was told it was disconnected but the plug to the motor was attached) got a motor and regulator Assy from the scrappies , slaved it in and the motor does not run. Is there an individual fuse per window ? I've looked at the loom and it seems ok. The small door open light on the door card doesn't work either. Is there a how to on here for changing the regulator ?

Ok, swapped the control modules over and boom ! Window working as advertised from passenger seat, nothing from drivers panel and rear windows from drivers panel working in stages only. Also the switch light on the pax side doesn't work either does the central blocking on that door. Hoping it's a coding issue ?

So was going to leave as is because window was working from PAC door. But after leaving car off for 5-10 mins window no longer works unless module disconnected and reconnected !! Looks like I need a log in to access the coding as it is greyed out. The old module shows the fault input voltage too low whilst the new one shows Comms fault. Any ideas ?

So got another motor assy , with a mod state D suffix (one I was trying was a B) and that's it sorted !
