Hi, my 2010 skoda superb elegance has failed its mot because the headlamp wont work due to water ingress so i need a new drivers side one, if there is a better section to advertise so someone who is breaking one will see it please let me know.

 

My unit has leaked water in and damaged the recently replaced control ballast as it has been leaking from the light into this too. I have located a new control ballast but still require a headlamp. They are £420 new which is a lot.

thanks but they are the halogen ones not xenon, i wish i had xenon now. I have found a xenon pattern at europarts for £150 each but patterns don't come with the superb logo on the side so it wouldn't match my passenger side and might look like it's been crashed. still cheaper than the 423 + Vat for one genuine one

Email some of the breakers on eBay and see what they've got

I'll give them a try, ive tried loads of breaker sites where it send them out to a few like parts gateway etc but no one has any only the non xenon, they are actually like rocking horse **** second hand.

Did you not get the warning on the dash before taking it in for the MOT?
