Pioneer Stereo permanent live issue?

Seeking a bit of help.

I've just installed a pioneer head unit (360BT)into my Mk 1 Octy. Managed to get it in ok but every time I start the engine it needs setting up again (clock set etc).

I bought it second hand and it came with an adaptor cable, could it be the wrong adaptor?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Swap the red and the yellow wire :)
