I'm thinking about adding electrical folding-in mirror to my FL vRS Limousine. The current door control units of my car is 1K0 959 793 J and 1K0 959 792 J, which won't work because there's only 7 pins for the exterior mirror plug.

 

Check with ETKA but didn't find more detailed information.

 

Anyone knows what's the part number of the door control units I should use? Plus, do I have to retrofit memory seats as well?

Part numbers start 1T0 959 701 and 1T0 959 702

This must be the part number for the whole unit, including window regulator motor and the black door control module. I wonder if by changing only the black module will do.

you can just change the black box but the part number of the black box is shared between many different cars.

 

fitting the wrong one will cause you problems, so best to buy the whole thing
