i have a 2006 fabia 1.9tdi elegance estate.

just purchased some 16" fabia vrs alloys , what is the correct tyre size that will fit my car?

i was thinking 205 55 16?

Not stated in owner's manual?

205 45 16

205/55's will rub on the arch liners

My Fabia 1.4 came with 185/60/14 ( BUT with a dangerously speed rating , as factory fitted). year ago, I needed a couple of tyres, and being cash strapped my daughter gave me a pair of 185/65/14 which I put on front, and loved the way it made the car handle better( for me anyway). This year as the rears are now dodgy, I've gone for the same on the rear end, and I must say ,car feels a lot better.
