I've just bought a classic tdi as a cheap runner for work so no electric anything but is it possible to add heated mirrors?

I've never seen a Classic trim with even a TDi90 in it, only the SDi or the base petrol.

 

I'd suspect that you need electric mirrors to get heated mirrors, and the easiest way of doing that would be to find front doors off an Ambiante or better in the right body and trim colours.

So are you suggesting swap over a complete door or just the mirrors and loom?

You only definitely need the mirrors, mirror controls and looms. I think that it may be easier to fit a door card that already has the controls in it than to swap the controls into a Classic door.

 

You'd still need to swap the looms over, and that means it might be easier to have complete doors, and even then I'm assuming that the body wiring for the mirrors exists.
