I have had a 52 plate Octavia vRS for two weeks and I love it. I'm thinking about a remap in the future but I don't want to go daft. I have been scouring this site for info on Jabba, Revo etc.. My main aim is to get a smooth progressive power delivery. Can anyone tell me if there are any good upgrades I can do before any remap to assist in this. My plan was to start off a Green Cotton air filter and a Samco turbo inlet pipe. I've got a feeling this is going to get addictive!

I'll say what I always say ablout remaps and tuning - talk to the people doing it, see what you think of them especially if you are going beyond a generic remap. Do you feel you could trust them? Do they know what they are talking about? Your relationship with your tuner is important.

As for other "bits" to do, do the inlet pipe (I'd go for ABD), a blueflame or Milltek exhaust and possibly a FMIC
