Hi there i was wondering if anyone knows about why my interior light will work on the constant setting but it will not work on the doors open setting while opening any door

It's usually a door microswitch issue but the fact that it's not working on any door has got be puzzled as it tends to be just the driver's one that fails. Might be the actual switch in the light.

Try this - lower the light with plug still attached. Locate the brown/yellow wire at the light plug and run a wire from that to an earth on the car body. Does the light then come on?
