Morning all. Strange thing happened on the wayb into work.

I put the right Hand indercator on the left indercator starts flashing. Any one got any thoughts or ideara if the switch is at fault?

When that happened on my car a replacement stalk solved the problem.

An alternative to try before replacing the stalk is a good squirt of WD40. The contacts getting worn / dirty causing the issues you describe.

 

Spray the lubricant right where the stalk enters the steering column and work it in by moving the lever around.

 

If this doesn't cure it then it'll be new stalk time.

Maybe a perfect opportunity to get cruise control if you don't have it already and the WD40 doesn't work.
