2005 Silver Fabia vRS ***SOLD***

Featured Replies

We are now selling the wife's Fabia vRS after around 9 years of ownership. It wasn't planned as she had decided earlier this summer to keep it for another year or two but then she came across a really good deal on a brand new car so changed her mind and took delivery of her new car a short while ago.

Anyway the details are as follows…..

2005 / 05 Plate Fabia vRS in Silver

94.5k miles (Won't rise as car not being used)

3 owners (I believe the dealer registered it then previous owner was the 2nd owner. My wife has then owned it since 2007)

MOT not due till August 2017.

FSH (Either at Skoda dealerships or at VAG Specialist)

4x Hankook Ventus v12 tyres (Three with 5mm tread & one with 4mm tread)

We're looking for £1750 ONO

The good points....

The car has....

Factory fit xenons

Factory fit cruise control

PD160 Intake

Cupra splitter (Not currently fitted to the car as it was removed a few months ago and I never got around to re-fitting it but it will be included in sale)

Rear aero wiper from Polo 9n

Connects2 "aux in" connectivity for Symphony HU

Under HU storage drawer

Skoda rubber bootliner

Boot storage net

Boot storage bags / pockets on both sides of boot area

Over the last couple of years the car has had the following work carried out.... (As I mentioned above she hadn't planned on selling it)....

Both rear shocks replaced (2016)

Both rear calipers replaced (2015 & 2016)

Front/rear discs & pads replaced (2016)

Radiator replaced (2014)

All four alloys refurbished (2016)

New aerial & base (2015)

New battery (2016)

The bad points.... Bearing in mind the car has been used as a daily driver for it's whole 11 year life and has never been a show car etc....

The usual 11 year old car stone chips on the front end

The driver's side fog light lens is cracked (Was like this when we bought the car and still works fine)..... See pic below.

There is a small chip / crack at the bottom of the windscreen about halfway across. (Again was there when she bought the car and has never got any worse. This has only ever been picked up as an advisory on one of it's MOTs which was in 2015 and was not picked up on this year which can be checked on the DVLA MOT history site)..... See pic below.

There are a couple of marks / scuffs on the rear bumper on the passenger side corner where the Mrs reversed into something a few years ago. (Only on the plastic bumper and not on the metal bodywork)..... See pics below.

The seats aren't in the best condition. The drivers bolster has a small hole in it and the seats have marks / stains on them..... See pics below.

Some pics of the car.....
