What was once rather an impressive styling feature the full face grill has morphed into a massive gaping grill!

 

 

Never really liked that look, not least because it did not (as Audi marketting claimed it should) evoke images of Auto Union grand prix cars to me.

I don't know about wide but expensive,  yes,  and for too long,  as for the hype well that's marketing for you , recon they should get a "proper job"   and get their hands dirty(not with ink)

Audi's are very nice to drive. Mine is anyway. And other ones that I have driven including an 80 Sport with 150k on the clock. Have people that dislike them, or even just 'dis' them, ever driven one?

I've got to admit I've never owned an Audi but do hope to have one, one day.

Early B7 S4 or an S2 would be nice or a big 4.2 V8 diesel A8.

Have VW sold Audi to Hyundi?  That's what the front end looks like.....

I'm not sure how "nice a drive" a car is changes its looks, or even makes some of the vehicle operation I've seen Audiots do acceptable?

Have to agree with you about the mondeo.. in Vignale(sp) or S trim it look quite good. Hell of a lot better than previous gens.

i do kinda like that first audi, but the side looks a bit like a chrysler 300c - narrow slitty high windows..

Kind of agree. I think the front end of the new Mondeo looks fantastic. Probably the best looking on the market although very similar to Aston;s of the past (and probably present).

Not so keen on the rear of the Mondeo though.

Getting further offpost... I think the Mondeo hatch looks really heavy round the rear flanks. Nice front end.

Keeping down that wrong road, Ford has always had phases of really good exterior design. I think they're in one right now. Most of the range looks pretty good.

Interiors are a feckin mess but the outside is good.

Likewise on the exteriors; haven't been in one later than 2011 MY.
