Featured Replies

Hi

Were is the usual place to mount an amplifier to power the front speakers? is it under the passenger seat?

The SE came with a CD multi-changer, are they mounted under the passenger seat? if they are is there mounting points for the CD changer that can be used to mount an amplifier?

Cheers

Cd changer is indeed under the passenger seat. It's fairly well wrapped up in trim to be honest. Without craning my neck around and under I wouldn't know how much room would be available. However I'd be fairly sure you could fit an amplifier in there no problem.

Plenty of space under front seats. I regularly use this as hiding place for anything valuable. BUT- with the prevalent of Fabias to door card leaks, I'd tend to either rais the amp off the floor/ make it waterproof.

How do you fix them in place under the seat?

on mine- the front of the underseat flap is detachable. If it's something that could get wet ,if cards leak, I'd take preventative measures . THAT was my suggestion .

A slim amp will fit under there with no problems. There's even a handy cable shroud and grommet with a hole in the carpet to feed the CDC.

How? I don't know, I paid for it at The Sound Gallery.
