Had to remove glove box on my 07 Octavia estate & leave it out for about a week,unplugged the passenger airbag switch to fully remove glove box."Air bag off" light then on on lower console & air bag light on on dash.After refitting lower light went out straight away but dash light goes out but comes back on again.any thoughts?

That's normal

 

When you unplug any part of the airbag system, including the airbag off switch it'll log a fault code causing the airbag light to stay on.

 

The only solution is to have the system reset, a dealer will probably charge you but if you can find a local member with VCDS they can do it in a couple of minutes.
