Extending warranty

My PCP is due to end in a few months and I'm condering either ditching the car (returning it), or possibly keeping it and extending the manufacturers warranty.

He anyone extended the warranty at 3 years old? The online quotation system suggests a 3 year old 140 BHP 4x4 will be around £700 / year (assuming the  warranty starts with mileage at 60K miles).

I was surpised how much this came to (I took a representative / out of warranty car registration from Autotrader and obtained a quote using that cars detaisl) 

Any views an alternate warranty providers?

My car will likely have covered just under 60K miles by the time it's 3 years old and has a full (Skoda) service history.
