claim advice.

Featured Replies

Bloke reversed into my car this morning in car park. Pushing the bumper back a little and cracking the number plate. (Possible other damage unknown at present*).

I have just received a call from his insurers (Esure) admitting his liability and offering to sort this through themselves with a rental car supplied and work carried out through Gemini ARC.

Big inconvenience as this is my work vehicle with tools, materials, paperwork in etc. (I am insured for Business).

I know I need to check with my insurance and get their advice, but any prior advice gratefully received.

(edited*) and should I go through my insurer or sort it out through his? pros and cons?*)

Cheers.

Contact your insurance, they are sure to know about it in time as all insurance companies share information. If anything does go wrong then you can leave it in the hands of your insurers and let them battle on your behalf.
