Having a 10 yr old kart racer in the house this looks interesting. :)

Lots of pushy parents living their own dreams through their kids. Great.

Watched with interest because my brothers oldest takes part in Karting through his school. I've spent several Saturdays this year track side helping out both fixing and altering the kart between races.

The parents pay a fee per term, and £45 per race which covers everything, and they are very strict with the regulations.

He is currently racing in a school provided Tony Kart, which at the last event was going really well and he was second during one of his three races until a back marker spun out just in front and took both him and several others out.

Was it any surprise that the 1958 Motor Show Elite made a new world record price for type? Having said that, I'd have paid more for the original road trim than for something that's now trimmed out with an FIA cage and modern race seats and belts.
