Projector headlights xenon watt?

Featured Replies

Hello! Im going to buy a set of projector headlamps for My Fabia 2009, its h7 bulbs, should i Go for 35w or 55w AC Xenon Kit?. Can the projector handle 55w without burning?

I'd always suggest 35w. It's really not that much difference and I'd always be worried about them burning out.

However, a few people do have 55w fitted trouble free, for now...

This.

I've tried both and the difference between 35w and 55w is only very minimal. Hardly noticeable.

The only thing you do notice is that the 55w's take alot longer to warm up.

People do cut the bulb holders but i dont.

You can fit all the connectors and the grommet through the hole on the oem holder if you're methodical about it.

Just give it abit of thought n dont go in like an oaf with a hacksaw like most seem to do :D.

You might need to slightly bend the holder to get the bigger connector through but not much.
