2.0 tdi octavia vrs cutting out whilst driving

Featured Replies

Hi all I'm new here and was hoping someone could help me with my car.

It's developed a fault over the last week or so and gradually got worse, it started to judder and try to cut out at junctions or when slowing down but was fine on a nice long stretch of road then a few days later it started to randomly cut out whilst driving and now if I leave the car running on the drive for an hour it will just cut out then when I come to re start it its really hard to start then will cut out or will idle until I try and move the car and put the engine under load it will cut straight out again it's really frustrating and can't seem to figure out what it is.

It's had dpf delete and egr and has been mapped out by darkside developments

Also had injector recall done

2 fault codes present

01602 passive/sporadic sensor reference voltage a circuit low

05000 passive/sporadic control module defective

any help would be great thanks Richard

That user last visited 6 years ago. I suggest you start a new thread with observable symptoms, fault code, fault narrative if any, and maybe what code reader you're using (that can make a difference)
