Does anyone know if the 2014 skoda Octavia vrs gearstick and gator fits the mk1 Fabia ? My gearstick is ripped from previous owner wearing rings etc, but cannot for the life of me find any new or nearly new Fabia vrs sticks. Looking at other avenues such as the Octavia one etc.

I did look at ones that were just as expensive as that and brand new directly from Skoda that I could have gone and picked up same day.

 

I was wondering if there was any gear sticks that would fit off the octavia as the VRS octavia stick that is currently for sale on ebay looks very nice with the red stitching.

This isn't what you are after, but I fitted a VW Golf stick in mine

Just tested the cheapy eBay (£7.99) one first and its a great fit, think the genuine ones are £20ish

No not at all, just take your vRS one off (cut the metal clip), put the golf one on, and maybe tighten it up with a jubilee clip
