Fabia Monte Carlo DSG

Featured Replies

I'm new to this forum section. Usually on the Yeti part having owned mine for 4 years

So my wife needs a new car and a Fabia is getting close to the top of the list

Test driven an SE DSG and an MC Manual with 90BHP

I liked the DSG but I really liked the interior and exterior of the MC

I'm thinking of ordering an MC DSG.

.

Any idea what the likely lead time is for a factory order

Thanks in advance

Its hard to say depends on other spec etc...

When i brought mine... they had a suitable one just left the production and took 4-5weeks...

Obviously if they need to build from scratch longer...

A quick discussion with a dealer and should give a rough idea whats in the pipeline.

33, yes you'll definitely have to check with dealer on that one. It can be variable. My standard SE DSG was just 3 weeks as it was already waiting in the pound in my colour, for transport from Germany to the UK. There may be a Monte in your colour waiting too...or not! I wanted spare wheel too and mine had been supplied with one as had several others. It's an often ordered extra thank goodness. But do chat to your dealer for latest info...that's essential.

The advantage of the spare wheel is that it's something that can be added at the dealership, so they can just shove one in if needed! Mine came with one too. Don't intend to need it, but good to know it's there!

Didn't intend to need my spare wheel, either. However...four days old and ran into a leaf-filled pothole that ripped a gash in the sidewall of the front nearside tyre. Rather glad I had the spare...and the Breakdown Service was excellent, and in Audi livery.

Which is what happened with mine.

Which is also what happened with mine...except mine was fourteen days old.

OP - my dealer was able to tell me to within one week the lead time for my order (six weeks).

Enjoy your MC.

And don't forget to ask for "special wind" in the spare tyre too. They come with just standard air installed but I managed to swing it as part of my deal for the special air to be fitted free of charge! In fact, they did all my wheels for free with that special wind!!  :D  :notme:

My monte carlo estate 110bhp took about 3 months to bloody arrive

Appararntly was the first MY17 MC estate to be built so it went under more checks, or thats the story they gave me.

I suggest you think carefully about delivery dates beyond 1st April 2017. The car tax hike will cost you more over your period of ownership, especially residual value compared with a late 66 plate.
