:peek: Hi to all i know this has been covered before but can anyone give me any idea what kind of price i will be looking at for this Solid flywheel conversion and a full clutch at the skoda dealers so i know what to expect before i phone them there is a bit of vibration on the clutch pedel so think it might be on its way either clutch or flywheel cheers

Hi . I posted this last June.

 

"Just had an update from Hughes Skoda in Aylesbury.

 

They agree that their fixed price clutch change is £489. So now they can do the clutch and SMF for £1,051.00 (instead of the original quote of £1,250.00) They say the SMF conversion parts cost is £428 + Vat and it would be an extra half hours labour.

 

The labour is fair enough but £428 + Vat seems ridiculously expensive when you can get a Valeo kit including the SMF, clutch, release bearing etc for £ 365 inc Vat."

 

I eventually got it done by an independent for around £650 with a Valeo kit. Hope this helps.

Hi thanks for the information big differents in prices so maybe look at getting independent to do the job is the Valeo kit the best one to get

I used this company, and was really pleased with them. Still going strong 55K miles later.
