Hello all.

I've been a lurker for sometime whilst weighing up the pros & cons of owning a 2010 Octavia 1.8 TSI 4x4 Estate.

Well thanks to all the info/discussions/advice on this forum I am now the owner of said vehicle!

So much more room and comfort than our ageing (2002) 318i Touring. Oh, and low RPM torque.

Thanks in particular to the info about the cam chain tensioner issues I was able to get it replaced with the uprated version. Happy Days.
