Did anyone try putting a foil on the grille trim? I'm thinking of refreshing the looks of the front a bit and the chrome frame seems a good starting point.

I'm not so into plasti-dip, so foil would be my 1st choice. Is it something to consider a DIY thing / does anyone have a positive/negative experience with it?

Certainly could be done with some 3M film...probably quite fiddly to do.

Have you thought about getting the skoda black grille. .they are about £30 on Ebay

I did, but the removal is rather tricky / destructive as far as I know...
