Rear seat tilt light on dash

Featured Replies

My light flickers all the time and it's doing my head in. The seats are locked in place properly. Is there a way of removing the bulb from the instrument panel or an easy fix to stop it flickering?

Cheers

The switch is behind the catch on the double part of rear seat back, check it's secure to start with.If it is you can adjust the rubber bungs/stops that are on the rear of the seat back to see if that helps.

If not pull the drivers side carpet wheel arch trim out in boot and unplug switch and put a small piece of wire to bridge the connector :)

No because all the dash lights are LEDs which are soldered in place. I'd do what coskev suggests.

Ok thanks will try and have a look today. Cheers chaps

To simplify.... sometimes the seat back will rattle in its slot causing intermittent "seat folded" warning. It's an old problem. Adjust the rubber stops to ensure it's held snuggly.

Just an update, had a fiddle and found the springy switch bit, pressed it in and out a dozen or so times and now the lights off while driving. Sorted lol
