The Mrs' 2001 (Y) Fabia Comfort has (or had) two keys - one with a little flashlight built in, and one without. No remote unlocking etc.

 

The one with the light has gone missing, and I'd like to get the spare copied in case it never turns up. Does anyone know if this can be done at a key place (eg Timpsons), or is it likely to have an immobiliser chip in it?

Hi there the key place should be able to clone your key

If it's like mine( which has not got light), Timpson can/will do it for a price- usually about £100 as it will have a chip. However, I'd check out locksmiths as they've gotten into the act and a lot charge a lot less than stealers or even Timpson's. I've had a quote as low as £40 for mine. ( Look out for EASTERN EURO PLACES).
