New Road Tax April 2017

Featured Replies

After the vehicles 1st year, nearly everyone will be paying £140.

then an increase according to emissions

If you buy a car registered after the 1st April 2017

The emissions matter in the first year.

No increase because of emissions after the first year unless it is over £40,000

Pricing emissions will concentrate the 'new' buyers mind, I suspect

Speaking to our Audi dealer, they are finding the £40k threshold more of an issue than emissions. It's not hard to push a top spec A3/4 diesel with low emissions over the limit. They can't guarantee new build orders for pre 1 April either.
