Hoping someone can help.

I've a Columbus system fitted in my 57 vrs.

It's been working fine but all sudden the media and sat nav have stopped.

If I press the media it says 'system starting'

Select media and says 'insert navigation disc's

Both have worked fine previously just suddenly stopped.

Any suggestions?

It's possibly a hard drive failure as both maps and media are dependant on reading the hard drive. Or main board perhaps.

 

If you send it to me I'll have a look and see what's up.

try a reboot by pulling the fuse supply

I've tried a soft reset today and seems to be working.

I'll keep eye on it and report back.
