I have an intermittent fault with my boot warning light appearing on my dash cluster. 

 

the boot is 100% closed and latched, i have done numerous searches and struggle to find anything.

 

ive checked all connections, WD40'd everything, adjusted the boot lock to pull it closer.... any ideas? its irritating me with this dash light and when locking the car the indicators do not flash so im not sure its working correct to indicate its locked?

Probably the switch on the boot latch.
