Climate control

Featured Replies

I dont think the cold air side of the climate is working.

Because im having problems with the car ive decided to check EVERYTHING.

Usually i have the climate set at 21 degrees, but today i set it to low{cold} for 10 minutes but the air was far from cold ,more like luke warm.

My previous octavia  would have been freezing in less than a minute.

Or would it?

I cant remember.

Steve,

The air con unit will not operate at temeratures below +5 degrees C so I image the outside temperature may well be below this value it has been were I live the last few days.

the coolest air to come out of the vents when air con is operating is said to be +5degrees at the least when operating

Thanks John.

Ill wait for the weather to pick up before adding it to the list .

I dont want the car now anyway.

Ive met more trust worthy 'DEALERS' in SOHO!

I'm genuinely sorry to have come across as unhelpful, Steve.

The air conditioning (Climatronic) in my 4x4 managed to produce really cold air when the outside air temperature was 93
