Should have joined earlier - bought my Yeti L&K 170 almost 2 years ago - love it, albeit I always try to see if I can find a fellow Yeti driver younger then me (early 50's).

Bought the car from the internet - didnt find local dealers particulary helpful.

Bit of a VAG fan - had about 4 VW Golf's - last one a MK2 Gti traded that for a Seat Leon Cupra (13 great years), now showing my age "Yeti" picked this as I had a prolapse disc  (good driving position) - touch wood no issues for quite a while.

Wifey threatened to divorce me if I got the car (Told her Skoda is the new cool :) ) - anyway she hasn't gone yet-i........

Ironically brought up in Bolton - watched the Wanderers many times at Burnden park in the 70's - was really a secret ManU fan, anyway got into Rugby League about 30 years ago & follow The Red Devils (Salford) me and a few others  :devil: . Last time I watched the Wanderers about 1998, Man U about 2007.

 

Hopefully Wanderers can get promotion as I still have a soft spot for them.

 

I did test drive a Octavia VRs & the Scout - very impressed but felt Yeti might be better for my posture! Couple years younger then Yeti Owner! 

 

My Yeti has been brilliant no issues other then me adding petrol  :sweat: Sep 15 (never had a diesel before) some idiot jumped on my windscreen (replaced) lorry went passed me new chip in windscreen and will need replacing again!!! (6in crack). I like the power & MPG compared to my Seat is briliant - I ahve been studying the other posts on the "diesel fix" as I have had a recall. 

 

I used to love ye old pastie shop on Churchgate - strangley when I moved to Wigan 15 years ago my car insurance dropped £150pa - only 12 miles :notme:
