Apple CarPlay

Featured Replies

Hi all this topic may have already been covered if so my apologies for asking. I have a 2016 Yeti and had apple CarPlay as an option. To begin with was ok but now constantly getting message cannot connect to smartphone. I have tried different cables but doesn't seem to work so wondered if anybody else has had issues and if so what you did to resolve them? Thanks

You could try forgetting the car and re-setting it up again. Just go into Settings > General > Carplay (on the iPhone), select the Car and then select Forget This Car.

I'd probably try rebooting the phone as well then after that (holding lock button and home button at the same time until screen goes black and apple logo comes back on) and then after that go out to the car, start it up and connect the phone again.

Honestly, not sure if that will help as mine has been rock solid since I first used it but that's what I'd do as a first step :)

I had a problem with an iPhone and it was due to fluff in the port where the cable plugs into the phone.

I used a cocktail stick and was amazed the size of the dust bunny I displaced.

Worth a try.

Ouch!

My mind wondered there, sorry))))))

I've found restarting the car radio helps when this happens. You can do this by pressing and holding the power button until it shows the Skoda logo (about 20 seconds).
