HI ALL , recently my battery went flat {my own fault } and since that the alarm when set will not close the windows or sunroof on my rs octavia I have tried turning the alarm on and off but to no avail .Help please

I wasn't aware that setting the alarm locked the doors and closed the sunroof. What happens if you leave them open then exit the car and hold the key in the locking position? If you do this the convenience system should close the windows and sunroof in addition to locking the car. Having disconnected the battery you need to reset the position of the closed (front) windows. To do this close all the windows using the convenience closing system, release the key, then hold the key in the closed position for a further 3 seconds or so.
