Sorry if this has already been started but i was too wound up to search the forum (sorry!!)

Has anyone recently had the emissions software update completed on there car and had any issues since??

I took mine in today, went to pick it up and they couldnt get the car off the ramp as the batter had died, they checked it and said the  battery was good just low on charge so give it a run up and down the motorway etc.

Just went to leave for work and car doesn't start!!!! :wall:  :wall:  :wall:

I was told by the local dealer last Tuesday that the emissions update was not yet available for my car - not that I would let them carry it out.

I'm starting to wish I hadn't........

Annoyingly not the first issue my car has come back from the dealers with more issues than it when in with!! ha ha!

There's a separate thread on the emissions update and some owners report loss of performance and lower mpg but nothing like flat battery. Could it just be its reached the end of its life?

I guess it could be that, but strange that when I went to pick it up they came out to tell me the car was delayed as they couldnt get it off the ramp due to it not starting?

Had no other issues with the battery before this??

Ah well maybe me just being a moany f**ker? ha ha

I think you and many others have a right to be p@#*!d off mate and not just for the flat battery. Sadly don't think we've heard the last of it either. Poor do all this.
