its an alpine 310r multimeadia navi unit, 4 x 50w, needs hardwiring, very reliable, very secure, and sounds the business most of all, yet to put the subs in but on std fabia speakers it sounds great, had michael jacksons thriller playin on the way to work, what a drive lol

 the Furby's speakers are pritty good at kicking some tunes out! and Mj rocks!! nice unit too!

Any chance of a pic with it fully retracted?

And what security does it have?

Cheers

The standard components are shi.te imo, but then what can you expect, they do the job, but you miss half the tune with the standard components - I guess it depends how much you like your music? My life is run with music, cant be without it.

Anyway, install is coming along nicely so wont have to put up with it for much longer :D

But yes that unit is stunning, quite pricey, but certainly worth the money

Alpine are the Mutts Nuts! Looks good, how flush did you manage to get the unit? I've got loads happening behind mine, and sticks out 5mm more than I would like...

The unit is totally flush to the adaptor plate, i used to fit radio's as a side line about 6 years but came out of it because there is no money in it anymore, so know all the tricks of hidding the wiring and gettin it flush etc. If you know alpine navi units they come with a small remote transmitter box that you have to find a home for in the dash, and also a huge great control module the size of alpines smallest amp, and hiddin that was almost impossible, but did it after much frustration. Got 4 alpine amps goin in eventually adding up to over 2kw, so needs to get some runs of 0 gauge down.
