Nearly time to give up on my fabia.

Featured Replies

About 7 months ago my car broke down on the A19 engine light came on RAC couldn't fix it at the road side so took it to garage. RAC diagnostics identified a misfire in one of the cylinders. £700 later and persumadly a fix engine I thought I was done.

Well 7 months later another engine failure and another cylinder misfire.

I have attached a photo of the original work and a photo of the current RAC diagnostics.

Do I have any rights in terms of warranty with it only being 7 months and seemingly related issue.

Any advice on legal standing and repair advice would be appreciated.

Can't afford another £700 on this engine.

You'll need to elaborate a little so forum members can help. What's the engine, mileage, year of registration, etc. £700 fix - what did the garage replace, was it Skoda dealer or Indy, etc?

"I have attached a photo of the original work and a photo of the current RAC diagnostics".  - Could not pick this up?

Still await fuller details as mentioned by spartacus68
