hi there

Featured Replies

Hi there - just joined on recommendation from another forum.

I've recenly bought an 01 51 Octavia vRS and was told this was the place to come for advice. It was a company car and covered 90K in its first 3 years (serviced at main dealer every 4 months). I've noticed a small (hopefully minor) problem which i will post elsewhere for advice.

this is my first skoda after owning various other brands and I must say you get a lot of car for the money.

Anyway hello to everyone

Hello

The Octavia is certainly a good car  Which colour have you got?

Hello and welcome :wavey:

hello and welcome, ex company cars are a cracking buy! cheap as chips cause of the mileage, but most is done on the m/way, so almost no wear to the car at all, and dealer serviced to boot! hope you like it here :)

hi. and welcome.

the car is red and has had 1 previous company owner. The service book details no less than 11 main dealer stamps between 2001 and 2005 with a cam belt at 80K (2004). Apart from the minor issue when starting it first thing it is a magnificent car. I've owned a large number of cars over the years (50+) but the skoda puts a smile on my face each time I drive it.

Welcome to Briskoda. I have posted a brief reply to your query elsewhere. :D

Welcome to Briskoda :wavey:

Hi pinkpanther :wavey:

When you say "50+", it wasn't the Lemmings Forum that recommended you by any chance was it? :sofahide:

Seriously though - a big welcome
