We're considering scaling down to 1car and I've noticed the 3008 now has induction charging of your phone.

Tesla software updates come from your home WiFi.

I do hope it's a completely Lovecraftian horror only understandable by the ancient ones and Cthulhu.

The ICE in the BMW and Mazda are merely incomprehensible and I think manufacturers need to try much harder to create something so confusing it causes instant madness in the user.

I for one don't miss the days of having tactile buttons which did a function when pressed in such an obvious manner I didn't even need to take my eyes off the road to do it. I much prefer twiddling a dial and shouting commands at a disembodied voice which laughs cruelly at my attempts to get Radio 4.

Hahahaha

I feel your pain but cynically may I suggest it's a transition phase to lull us into the acceptance autonomous driving tech.......the look over there effect .......think of all the twitter work you can do???

I assume that you can choose not to have this if you're one of those people who is in the market for a VW but refuses to do business with Amazon in protest at their tax avoidance practices.

I can imagine a joint venture between say Sony, LG and Google (or a similar group) producing a car.......an autonomous one of course.

Current car manufacturers don't seem to be aware of the need to adapt to rapid change in ICE NAV and the loss of driving involvement threatening.

The young ones don't particularly care if 'it' is taken away, I suspect.
