Bi xenon emergency position

Featured Replies

Hi

vag technician changes passenger side lower arms on my yeti. Had an issue with the crub in the snow avoiding a stupid driver

any arms have been changed but the dipped beam on the bi xenons seems to be pointing well low. Reading the manual we think the car has its light in emergency mode?

can this be reset in a vcds? If so how please?

or is it a dealer only fix?

thanks

phil

Sounds like the sensor on the front suspension hasn't been refitted/connected back up correctly?

Is there one on the front also? I thought only the rear had it?

I don't know for sure, but my previous Ford did - I would imagine it has to, the front or rear could be low or high depending on the exact loading.

There is indeed an emergency mode for the headlights that reduces the range quite considerably. I had mine reset at a dealer after an accident last year.
