First time Skoda owner

Featured Replies

I ordered my first Skoda yesterday afternoon. A dithered about diesel versus petrol for weeks and finally went for the diesel. We currently have a Golf and needed a larger car for the dog (Deerhound Lurcher) so plumped for a L&K Superb Estate, 4x4 DSG - 190 version. Expected sometime in April.

SWMBO is a bit tense about parking the thing but she was also tense about her first time driving an automatic... for about 200 feet and then she was fine with it, so I'm hoping the parking issues stops being one the first time she sticks it into a bay in Tescos without any fuss.

Lovely spec... I'm sure your dog will be most appreciative of his new space :)

Friend ordered a similar on last year; not the L&K and he loves it, as does his dog :) It should have lots of nice beepers to aid parking. The one I tested had a psuedo side sensor for things like posts in carparks...

With regards to Murphy, we'll be having a cage made to measure for the cavernous boot, so whilst he should have the entire space to himself, he shouldn't be able to get that anything soft, chewy and particularly appetising, like seats or headrests! If he does, he might find himself left at home a lot more.

I ordered the rear-camera especially for the boss, plus there's a plethora of sensors around the thing, as you say, so if she dings it, she might find herself left at home a lot more.
