Interior air quality sensor

Featured Replies

I seem to have this error code thrown up. Can anyone tell me how easy it is to change. Cost and location of part. Does the dash come out or us it an easy job.

SKODA Yeti 5l Interior Air Quality Sensor 1K0907659  About £60

Removing
–  Remove the right side of the plenum chamber cover
–  Remove the air inlet cover of the air conditioning system.

–  Unplug the plug -1- from the air quality sensor -G238-.
–  Release the catch -2- and rotate the air quality sensor -G238--3- by 90° and remove.
Install
Installation is carried out in the reverse order
Do not place a removed sensor in areas where it can come into contact with solvents, petrol and certain chemical compounds (liquids or vapours). This would result in permanent damage of the sensor.

Thanks for that. Doesn't sound a major job but where is the bloody plenum chamber cover. ,!!!

Found where it is. I wonder whether the fault has come because the chamber is full of muck and gunge or whether the sensor is faulty. Lots of trees in the garden so could be full of mushy leaves. Anyone any experience if this.
