Yeti Outdoor Prime?!

Featured Replies

A friend is quietly interested in a new Yeti.  I warned him of the reported ending of production and he has come back with this:

'Ah! that's why we are being  offered a version called Yeti Outdoor Prime, the SE/SEL versions with lots of bolt-on goodies effectively at the price of the SE/SE:L without the 'prime' attached to it.'

Anyone else met this variant?

Are you sure he didn't mean Yeti Outdoor Drive? There are two versions of the "new" Drive model - one based on the SE and the other on the SE L models. Both have many goodies over the standard spec cars.

Copy-and-paste.  'Drive' was my immediate thought but with new variants seemingly coming out on a weekly basis lately I'm checking here before going back!

We assume 'friend' is in the U.K.  Probably 'Drive' as said.  Make sure 'friend' knows that this isn't the 'same price' as the SE/SE L.  Yes - the extra kit is about half the cost of what it would be if ordered as 'options' and many of the add-ons are desireable, but don't be fooled - they aren't 'free'.
