Boot leak

Featured Replies

Had a look in the boot of my vrs this afternoon to see if I could locate the source of a wet boot and noticed it was running down from what appear to be vents?

You can see in the photo the bottom section is wet. She's not been driven today, but it's been on and off heavy showers.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

As I see it, the water is running right down the arch seam.

So, does your's have a factory electric sunroof? (standard or optional extra)

Nope, no sunroof

It could be the trailing edge seal on the RH passenger door maybe? Is there any trace of wind noise from there?

Just that I've never known those vents (you're correct there) let water in.
