Leaking Washer Bottle

Featured Replies

I'm sure this isn't a new topic at all, but I've tried trawling through with no success - a pathetically slow broadband connection is no help either...

Our Fabia Mk.1 was dumping all the screenwash out again more or less straight away, which we traced to the grommet holding in the pump. For lack of any other resource at the time, we codged it with tigerseal, which worked fine for the MOT, but now it's let go again!

Can't seem to find one on t'interweb, so, please, does anyone know the part number???

Use a strong screenwash solution at this time of year to reduce the chances of pumping against frozen pipework and jets.

And AT LEAST 50% any other time to stop pipes popping off.

Be careful when fitting the new grommet that you don't push it into the tank when installing the pump like it did! Extremely annoying and time consuming. Had to remove whole assembly to fish grommet out and start again.
