does anyone know if MK2 Rear headrests will fit a MK3?

I didn't think that was a particularly difficult question I'm surprised nobody seems to know - I'll get the tape measure out !

Not a difficult question, just an unusual one! Probably not many have tried, or needed to, or have both cars available to try

 

Interested as to why though?

Rear centre headrest badly (well actually he did a pretty good thorough job, culprit in my profile pic) chewed and needs replacement found a mk2 one and just need to check it will fit 

have been looking for a breaker but only found 2 and neither would let the headrest go both at £150 , wanting to keep the interior as a complete set ,  will need a drivers seat too
