Jumped in the octavia (2015 petrol vrs) yesterday morning and when I turned the key I got a noise like the one in this video below, Ive never had it before and it hasnt happened since, temp was cold yesterday too.  Any idea what it is?

 

 

Wrong forum, perhaps? It does sound like some heat filter rattling or something similar.

ha, no not my car but only video I could find with a similar sound, Im thinking a belt or something similar.  The car is on 40k miles now so pretty high for 20 months old but never heard it before.

ohhhh Thanks Moggy, I'll put it down to it being really cold but if it happens again I'll flag to skoda.
