Any help will be appreciated.

Kind regards-Tony

Sounds like the Pcv unit and maybe the flex pipe connection. Would normally be a very DIY able job.  I don't know the 1.4 well so see what others post back.

I was advise to add fuel cleaner after clutch replaced by garage -

I filled tank with petrol added fuel cleaner/ just add to fuel tank - advice on bottle -quanity to add to tank ( Product Name: DIPETANE- fuel lubricant/engine cleaner /this is name of product sold here in Ireland)

I do not know name in of product sold in UK

Not expensive €10 EURO per bottle / approx  £8.50 UK Sterling.
