I have recently bought a skoda yeti outdoor l&k in jungle green. Im toying with the idea of getting the black monte carlo grill surround and black wing mirror covers but i cant make my mind up. Has anyone done this or what do people think this will look like. Should i shouldnt i

It wouldn't be for me.  If you do it, keep the old parts so you can put it back to stock in future and sell on the MC bits.

Terrible idea!!!!....... as far as I'm concerned,  but it's your car.... you do what you'd like with it.  It's none of my business if you've got more money than sense .     Oh.  and what Falmouthboy said, too,

Well I wouldn't do it myself James , but if you like the look of it you should do it , after all it's your car and you should style it to suit yourself .

Black mirror covers look good....... but maybe as I have some for sale on here

Well, I turned everyting that was chrome on my car into black. And added black mirror covers. So I guess my advise won't be objective....

Being more subjective than the odd post on here.

 

The black surround and mirrors can look good but I think suit brighter colours e.g. red or white better i. e. where there is more contrast.

 

The bright surround I think suits the more muted colours better  and I include Jungle Green in this. The black mirrors would be fine though as they would match the pillars etc.

 

If you fancy it though, go with it.

Bexhillian that is very true. Although I'm not sure anyone would like red and green wheel nuts covers. I think I'll go ahead and do it. Then probably change my mind and put it back to original but I've got to do it

Most would not choose my Magnetic Brown either and four red (standard nuts) and one Skoda green (security nut) cover per Matterhorn wheel is just a bit of 'discreet bling'.
